Chilean guava ugni molinae - Hi Brad Why seed? I started with a single bush from a nursery and was impressed with the fruit (& the negligible impact of Mediterranean fruit fly - a severe nuisance in Perth if conventional guava are grown.) & so I tried seed propogation. Comments: - It put out three little fruit soon after potting up, but fell off. Perhaps from overwatering and overfertilising? It's growing vigorously though.

Comments: - Healthy vigorous growth with no pests whatsoever since purchase in January (it has been two months). Had a few flowers which fell off about a month after transplanting. Tip pruned lanky growth to keep plant a bit contained.
