12/09/10 Frost: About My Edible BackyardWhy Getafix Love's Edible Plants For a more regularly updated list of my plants, see my Folia The block is about 500m2, with a big backyard facing north, and a small front yard facing south. Essentially no plants in place when we moved in, so a blank slate to start with. I'm pretty new to gardening, but keen to give it a go. I like the idea of having a productive garden. Double grafted lemon/lime (Grafted) 6/10Getafix's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5146 days 18hrs Comments: - We don't have a lot of room at our place, so the idea of a double grafted tree was attractive, although it was an expensive tree. It also looks nice with the different foliage and flowers on the one tree Planted: 2009 Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Was this review helpful? Avocado - Secondo (A) ® (Grafted) 8/10Getafix's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5146 days 18hrs Comments: - Sept 2010: The fruit from this variety was rated very highly by Daley's staff, and it is also meant to fruit well without a pollinator, so i thought i'd give it a go. We have heavy clay soil, so i'm in the process of preparing its eventual spot in the garden, and in the meantime it's in a pot. Since the weather has started to warm up, it has put on a lot of new growth and looking pretty healthy in general Planted: 2010 Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Medium Sun Water Given in: Spring Was this review helpful?
