Disease on avocadoanthracnose - Thanks Brendan...yes, i've already cut the top section off, and so far so good. I've been giving it the occasional drink with seasol and powerfeed, so hopefully those two should give enough potassium. Does it need gypsum given it's in a pot? It is ..3325 days 13hrs
My confused almond - I have a relatively young self-pollinating almond growing in a pot, and in general it's been doing OK. In early march i noticed it was dropping its leaves, and i just assumed it was becoming dormant for winter...it seemed a little early in autumn to be d..3327 days 13hrs

Double grafted lemon/lime (Grafted) 6/10

We don't have a lot of room at our place, so the idea of a double grafted tree was attractive, although it was an expensive tree. It also looks nice with the different foliage and flowers on the one tree

My wife and i both love almonds, so an almond tree seemed like a natural addition to our garden. They are also very attractive plants in bloom so it will look great as well.

Avocado - Secondo (A) ® (Grafted) 8/10

Sept 2010: The fruit from this variety was rated very highly by Daley's staff, and it is also meant to fruit well without a pollinator, so i thought i'd give it a go. We have heavy clay soil, so i'm in the process of preparing its eventual spot in the garden, and in the meantime it's in a pot.

Since the weather has started to warm up, it has put on a lot of new growth and looking pretty healthy in general

Mulberry-Black (Grafted) 9/10

Update: 3548 days 17hrs

Wanted a good climbing tree for when the kids are older, as well as something edible. Has absolutely taken off since being planted in late Nov 09 and is now nearly 3 metres tall (Apr 10).

Sept 2010: Had a brief dormant period over late winter, but has now woken up with a vengence and there are flowers everywhere, so hopefully we should have some fruit later this year.

Bought and planted out in Novemeber 2009 but hasn't had a single new leave since and i'm not exactly sure why. Gets plenty of sun and water, and even though it's in a clay soil the drainage seems ok.

Passionfruit - Black (Seedling) 10/10

Planted a small seedling in November, hoping i might get some fruit next spring. However less than 6 months later it is covering the entrie trellis and flowers everywhere, sometimes over 10 a day. It needed some help from me for pollination, but there are now plenty of large passionfruit coming along nicely...i just hope they ripen in time ebfore winter
