Can anyone tell me the circumference or diameter of an adult avocado tree? We are build a deck around our juvenile avo, and i need to know how big a hole to leave to allow for future growth. It is a grafted Secondo avocado.

They can get rather large, there is one in my street, not sure what type but the trunk would be at least 30cm in diameter.

Ok, thanks everyone. I knew they got big, just wasn't sure how big. We should be able to engineer the hole in the deck so we can make it bigger in the future if need be.
