Hi All This time last year I had a bit of a whinge about buying 100 seeds of Peter Pepper chilli for $50 and had a germination of 5 plants, anyway to cut a long story short, I now have spare seeds to share. These are locally grown and mine had almost 100% germination. email me on nickgiancola54@gmail.com and I will send you some. Happy New Year to all the family. | About the Author nicg gwelup 5th January 2014 7:58pm #UserID: 7693 Posts: 46 View All nicg's Edible Fruit Trees |

MNash1 says... Thanks for that, mail from WA is extremely slow to my address. Ill post up when The seeds get here. Also, The seeds Im sending to you may be Trinidad yellow 7 pots rather than TY scotch bonnets. The wife moved the plants and one carked it. However its the best tasting super hot out of the lot and in the ground its very prolithic. | About the Author MNash1 Terranora 10th January 2014 5:26pm #UserID: 2892 Posts: 292 View All MNash1's Edible Fruit Trees |
Brain says... slightly off topic, how does the Trinidad yellow 7 pots and TY scotch bonnets tasted like? Which one is the best tasting? I've grew naga morich and bhut joloka and i can't say I'm a big fan. It's hot yes, but there is a pungent smell which I'm not a fan of. So, what I'm hoping for is another variety like the African birds eye but hotter. | About the Author Brain Brisbane 13th January 2014 12:33pm #UserID: 6289 Posts: 638 View All Brain's Edible Fruit Trees |

MNash1 says... They are all way too hot for practical use. I dry them and use a small amount of shaved dried supers to flavour a wet dish like a curry. The Yellow T seven pots are still very hot but have a wonderful pine fruit flavour. The TY SB are simular but are a little more tart. I ran over some overhanging TY7P on my ride on and it was like some copper sprayed mace in my face. The fumes are so strong I had to get out of there. | About the Author MNash1 Terranora 13th January 2014 3:34pm #UserID: 2892 Posts: 292 View All MNash1's Edible Fruit Trees |

MNash1 says... Seems I was right the first time. My discription is arse about. Its the TYSB I have Here it is and from the bloke I bought it from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imi5xac0v-4 My plant is two seasons old and it seems the more mature plants grown in the ground grow the bottoms out that made me think it was the 7 pot that I had. Brian, I should be up in Brisbane soon. You might be able to meet me at one of the Energex sub stations that I need to inspect? | About the Author MNash1 Terranora 14th January 2014 11:13am #UserID: 2892 Posts: 292 View All MNash1's Edible Fruit Trees |
Brain says... hey MNash, I want to grow some of the really hot stuff and the 7 pod is the one I'm really after. 7 pod is in the same league as the Trinidad Scorpions :) Anyway, in about 2 month's time, I should have some Butch T seeds if you are keen to emulate your heros on youtube. Though, the only catch is, they are not grown in isolation and you may end up with a hybrid. | About the Author Brain Brisbane 14th January 2014 2:37pm #UserID: 6289 Posts: 638 View All Brain's Edible Fruit Trees |
