I have a Chinotto that has a lot of fruit on it and am wondering if I should thin out the fruit? The cutting I took 24 September 13 is still alive!

The Chinotto fruit dont get too big, usually +/-golf ball size. Seems to carry the fruit ok, but can weigh down the branches. If they are near full size will prob only ripen not grow much. Maybe thin if overloaded and in danger of breaking branches.

Thanks, jakfruit etiquette; I'll keep watch re weight. It's the first year it has such a heavy crop; the tree is old (I've had it more than 15 years) so would probably manage to carry the fruit if they don't get too big.
