Fig - Celeste

I chose this variety of fig to add to my collection. At present I have 9 varieties of figs. I read that the Celeste fig has a nice honey flavour and is generally a reliable producer. As I received the plant in Summer, I decided to pot it up in a 400mm pot instead of planting it into the ground at that stage. The plant is still looking very healthy and is about 0.8m in height with a very nice growing habit. I shall plant it into a raised garden bed sometime in winter.
