Used as a wind break on larger properties it can also be used as both a formal or informal hedge or screen. Forms a very tight hedge with regular pruning. Prefers a well drained, fertile soil in a full sun position, but will tolerate a semi shaded position. Hardy in most climates adnd conditions such as frost salt air pollution
