Finger Limes (forum)

1 responses

Daniel starts with ...
I have a finger lime in a pot, and I am wondering:

1. What sort of fertiliser you recommend to feed it,
2. When to feed it,
3. How much to feed it.
4. Are there any recommendations for pruning to maximise the amount of fruit produced?

Regards,

Daniel

Kath says...
Use a citrus fertilizer or a general balanced NPK fertilizer, if you are organic, dynamic lifter or blood and bone are also very good. Feed it 3 times a year during the growing season. Use fertilizer as directed. No need to prune them like most citrus, just cut out any dead wood and you can prune them down to size if you wish. Enjoy, they are truly wonderful little fruits.
