Can you please tell me the best variety of blueberry tree/bush for Sydney? We don't want anything too big, although I guess we could keep it pruned. Do they fruit a lot? Anything to watch out for?

Hi Janis,
Not sure about the best varierty ... Im still trying to work that out myself. One thing for sure is they NEED a nice wet, but well drained ACIDIC soil. Ive grown them in pots with azaelea potting mix with good success - and yeah they fruit heaps - twice a year in our climate.
Im about to prepare a planting site for a few blueberries. Im creating a soil mix or compost, peat, and azaelea potting mix and then mulching with pine bark :)
Hope this helps,
Rich
