Hi Des, Id recommend african pride - although not the best tasting, at least you do not have to hand pollinated the flowers to get fruit. otherwise go for pinks mammoth.

Hi Des, Happy Earth - I have an african pride and the fruit last season was truly sublime!? I don't know if I would want it to be any sweeter or more fragrant - it would blow my taste buds away! :-)

Hi peetah - no i didn't hand pollinate - there is a Hilary white next door to it - but she never does squat! they are only small and young at present so I don't want them carrying too much fruit (as it's quite heavy) so I just leave them to their own devices. I had 4 small fruit last year off the A.pride(they were 2 yrs old then) it set the tree back a bit and I probably should have stopped them...but I couldn't help myself! :)

It will certainly harm the mango tree, but the custard apple tree should be fine :)
Just try and remove most the root system before planting

Do I need two for pollination?

Cant find a cherymoya, so may as well add a custard.
