Hi John - do u mean red chilli pepper or red peppercorns? I'd be interested in this one too!
I used "scram" once - it worked but doesn't last - it's citronella i think.
The best cure I have found for digging is to put all their poo in the spot - works well - but won't stop them from trying a new spot however (mine usually dig up the soil to get to the cooler soil beneath in summer - so the spots are predicatable)

Hi Amanda, I mean finely ground red pepercorn. It gets up their nose and irritates them. It won't last long either but could break the habit after a few tries.

Hey, I'm not the weed police... besides I'm sure the council planted them and not you, Amanda (joking). On the subject of the dog sleeping on the garden, you could collect a couple of its turds and place them where it likes to lie and I guarantee it won't want to lie there anymore. It might want to crap there but it won't lie there.

Yup - see above Dekka - on to it!! :) I like your weed info by the way - it's a quiet reminder in the background that all that glitters is not gold...;)

hi thank you i have tried putting poo on the spot it worked for a while and the rocks are working. but she is now pooing on the garden too. if any body has yellow patches of grass from the dogs urine get some ''dog rocks'' and put them in their water , [my dogs have 4 containers of water but i only put rocks in 1 outside and the inside bowl]they work they are great.oh i have not replaced them as suggested.

Hi wobbly - there is a product I have seen in bunnings that is strips of spikes (not dangerously spiky) that u embed in the garden - it's supposed to deter digging...haven't tried it myself. U may need to provide dog with a sand pit n try training him/her to go in there..? good luck ;)
