MaryT says... Hi Joe; the choice of pots is up to you but they need to be big for trees. Use a premium potting mix. Organic and slow release fertilisers; regular but little. Each type of tree has its own requirements; you can search the forum for particular trees. Your question is too broad; see how you go and if you are in doubt, ask specific questions.
