infested worm farm (forum)

My worm farm is infested with tiny mites, I believe they are earth mites. They cover everything that I put over the compost including newspaper, hessian sack etc.& they appear to be a pink/ salmon colour. I use the worm juice for fertiliser, but not game to use the compost in case of infesting my vegie garden. Tried lime,& the complete opposite, coffee grounds without success. Any ideas??

It's too dry if mites are living there.

I regularly water the newspapers after first making them into a container shape to hold it longer. The mites always cover the underside which is most damp.
