Nectarine, From Seed to Fruiting. "How Long?" (rough (forum)

A few weeks ago, I had a bite from the best Nectarine I have ever tasted. It happened to be the Last one,& was given to my wife & I only got a bite (or two) of it. ... But I managed to keep the seed, or should I say,the stone. ... I know it will take quite a while, but could someone tell me,, If I planted that stone right now, today, How long would I have to wait before it A) Germinates, & B) becomes a tree, & C) how long after that before I get any fruit on it? ....... Oh by the way,, Are there any special conditions that I need to create or do, for germinating from Nectarine stone (or other stone fruit?) P.S. ... I happen to know that this did Not come from a Dwarf Nectarine Tree. (if that makes any difference?)

Peach seedlings, at least 5 or 6 years, the key is to get them 2m to 3m tall and wide and they should fruit easily. Seed probably needs 3 months cold stratification in the fridge, or plant in pot over winter, to come up in spring.
The cold strat. is a more consistent method.
