trikus says... water adds cost to shipping ,, sellers must like it dry as a bone to save them $$$ same with spagnum moss .. bales of bone dry NZ stuff is only available now the tasmanian patch has been killed off .

jakfruit etiquette says... put the peat in a bucket of water, and start mixing it around and squeezing with your hands.After you get some of it to take up water, leave it overnite till it is ok for you, then drain xs | About the Author

db says... Can someone please tell me whats wrong in adding dry peat moss while making potting mix for planting, why do we need to pre-wet it as plant will get lots of water anyway right after planting.. Am I missing something? | About the Author
