Jak there are dozens of seed companies but you can't order that many on line.Simply Thai Seeds is a reputable on-line company with Lion Seeds and Known-You Seed Company producing excellent packet seeds. If they are in Bangkok go to Chatuchuk market on Wed/Thurs? on the plant days and if in Chang mai go to the huge local market up the road from the night market.Seeds from many fruits just have to be cleaned, labelled with scientific name on a clip bag and the ICON printout helps. While the dozens of varieties of garlic, shallots, gingers, tubers generally and legumes will be tempting you can't bring them back. They could look for garlic seeds.

Ok I will pass on the info about the fresh fruit seed, that should help.
With off the shelf veg seed pkts in foreign language with pic, maybe with just the english name etc. What is the acceptable way to label with the scientific name to allow entry to Australia? Just write it on a stick on label and put on the seed pkt?? Is that enough??

A sticky label with the scientific name should be enough and declare them.An email alert with name, flight and seeds to AQIS/customs would help but all bets are off in Sydney where customs is a real keystone cops outfit and they could go on a confisgation spree of permitted items.
