speedy says... Do you mean Ngo gai (Eryngium foetidum)? It grows in a rosette and has prickly a inflorescence. For years people were calling it 'Thai coriander', yet in Thailand it's called "Pak Chee Farang" = Foreign Coriander. It's actually from Central America. These days it's more often refered to as 'Mexican Coriander' or 'Culantro'. You should be able to get seed from companies like Cornucopia seeds, Eden Seeds or Greenpatch. http://www.greenpatchseeds.com.au/index.html http://www.edenseeds.com.au/content/default.asp Plants are sometimes offered by nurseries in the vege seedling and herb section http://www.cornucopiaseeds.com.au/products.php?product=Mexican-Coriander-%252d-Plant%2C-75mm-Pot- | About the Author speedy Nth Vic 15th March 2010 8:25am #UserID: 0 |
