Question & Answer
Hi. I live at Revesby New South Wales which is South West of Sydney. I love Longan fruit and want to grow a Longan tree in my backyard. Do you know what variety is best to suit our climate and also if you have one available for purchase. Thank you and eagerly awaiting your reply:) From: Revesby NSW
Longan are as subtropical / tropical fruit tree, but I think it should still fruit in Sydney if you want a grafted variety you can't go past a Kohala. Other option is a seedling Kohala which is 1/2 the price and generally hardier in marginal climates, but will take longer to fruit. 4-6yrs
