Lime - Tahitian

$37.00 ($37.00-$69.00 choose a size)

The small to medium fruit is pale lemon-yellow with smooth thin skin. The flesh is a translucent pale green, tender and juicy with a true acid lime flavour. It is best to pick the fruit green as it can suffer from rot if left to ripen on the tree.

Dwarf Lemon - Meyer

$44.00

This popular lemon is not a true lemon but likely to be a natural hybrid between a lemon and an orange. The lower acidity and reduced sourness makes it one of the most widely grown lemons for the home-garden. Very hardy and prolific. The fruits are deep orange-yellow in colour with thin skin and they are very juicy, making them perfect for use in dressings and marinades. The meyer is low in pectin. The dwarf rootstock, flying dragon modifies the top growth making this a dwarf plant that is ideal to use planted out or as a pot specimen.

Great for an informal native hedge. Traditional medicinal uses: An infusion of the seeds, fruit pulp, leaves or wood was ingested for the relief of pain and cramps. Decoction of the fruits was drunk and applied for eczema. Bush medicine, for colds, cramps, itching. Seeds ground for flour. Gumbi Gumbi is resistant to both drought and frost, and grows in a wide variety of soil types, from heavy clay to mostly sand. But for best results in a home garden, choose a well-drained loamy soil or potting mix, located in full sun, and water well throughout the dry season.

Dwarf Persimmon - Ichikikijiro (NA)

$79.00 ($79.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Large, flat fruit of excellent quality, non-astringent and seedless when grown on its own. Being a dwarf variety it is well suited to backyards but is also a good commercial variety. Will fruit as early as March in the subtropics. Ichikikijiro generally produce only one flush of growth in the spring so don't be alarmed if your tree is not growing in summer, this habit contributes to their small stature.

Mango - Florigon

$74.00 ($74.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Definitely the winner in the taste department. The soft sweet flesh melts in your mouth. The fruit has a small seed and virtually no fibre and great flavour. Considered by some to be too small for the market it certainly makes up for its lack of size with taste. Yellow skinned, excellent quality fruits. Sets well in subtropics. Moderately resistant to Anthracnose, susceptible to Black Spot. Average wt. 300g. (Video - Grafting a Florigon Mango)
