SANDY CREEK, QLD

Palm - Bangalow

I like this native because it provides habitat for native pigeons, flying foxes and is a great pollen source for honeybees. It also is a native of our area and encourages back native species, it provides shade and strong root structure in wet areas. It is hardy with little known pests so easy to grow. Sad side. We lost 3 young ones after arrival, unknown causes . Have a great day

Traditional tropical folliage tree, and local to the area is a plus too. Beautiful glossy, strappy green leaves.
