This plunger tool is used to treat Phytopthora root rot in Avocado trees in commercial and backyard orchards. Can also be used for other tree species. Follow links below for full how to use tutorials. Injectors must be placed evenly every 100 - 150mm around the tree. Drill holes 5mm diameter, 5cm deep, slightly angled down, below hip height. Fill the injector, and insert into holes.Unlock device by twisting the plunger handle. Repeat for all injectors on the tree, so they are releasing at the same time.The injector uses 23lbs of pressure to slowly pump the fungicide into the cambium. Uptake depends on the transpiration rate of the tree, and can take up to half an hour.
