Hello, I was just wondering if it is possible to grow a Barbados Cherry / Acerola In Melbourne and get it to fruit. I live in a low frost area.
Thanks Joshua

Hi 393577
I have 2 Barbados trees. 1 in morning sun which can be really hot in summer but this tree just grows big in the ground after 2 years. Had about 5 fruits this summer gone because it is exposed to the wind. Saw lots of flowers and small fruits but they all dropped. The other tree close to my fence sheltered from hot sun. Tt had given me about 20 fruits first time in 2 years. Tree staying small because it is in a pot Both were struck from cuttings. Hope this helps.
