Almond and oak tree issue

Hi all,

I have started a small tree orchard this summer, most have grown well, particularly over the spring time rains.

Over the last month the leaves of the almond and English oak trees have started the turn yellow/brown across the leaf fringes and tips. Pictures attached.

I have been giving all a bucket of water a week, and they're on mounds, so I wasn't sure if its just water building up at their roots? We're on clay soil.

They are still shooting new growth, however the leaves are getting more brown/yellow as time goes on.

We're at central Victoria. Any advice is much appreciated.
