Anyone in Melbourne want to share a Daley's order? (forum)

Hi Fellow Fruit Growers,
I'd like to buy a White Adriatic fig tree from Daley's, but one tree is going to cost a packet in freight.
Any Melbournians in the southern suburbs thinking of ordering anytime soon?
If so could we share a carton?

I saw some White Adriatic figs at a nursery in Coburg last year. They have a lot of fruit trees supplied direct from Daleys - it might be worth your while to check it out before you do a mail order for a single tree, maybe they'll even order one in for you. If you can find Dan Murphys in Coburg, (from memory it is on the corner of Munro and Walker St) - it is almost directly opposite down a little side street, run by an elderly European couple. Also Poyntons of Essendon have a large variety of figs if you want to shop around.

Would that be right?

And the 'Poyntons of Essendon' website looks very inviting. I'll have to drop in for a tree-browse next time I'm over that way.

I think its white adriatic. It has white/yellowish skin and very sweet compared to our purple one.
