Avocado mould

Hi All,
I have a dwarf avocado that has what appears to be a mould growing on the branches. In all other respects the tree looks very healthy, leaves look perfect, and its not hosting any parasites that I can see. I have sprayed white oil on the mould but this had no effect. It this sooty mould or could it be something else?
Cheers, Bucko.

I think the tree needs a copper spray Bucko, copperoxichloride @ 3grms per L and a wetting agent to help it work

Hi there. My tree has the same problem. Did the Copper spray do the job?

Cheers
