Help!! I have a dwarf Hass that is in trouble. As per the pictures it has in the last few months developed what looks like black mildew on the branches. Some of the lower branches have turned completely black as if burnt. The leaves that are on there are on one side only (east facing) but are pretty healthy looking. Not pale/yellow. I've searched Google extensively and can't track down what this is or how to treat it. This is my first avocado tree and the tree is approx 3 years old. Any ideas on treatment would be greatly appreciated.
