Lissa says... Spokane in the US Diane? You would be lucky to have someone from the US, specifically Spokane, come on an Australian forum and see this. Some things you could do - get in contact with gardening centres or groups in Spokane and ask your question. Research the climate requirements of different Avo's and plant one which is cold resistent. Or, just go ahead and plant one in a warm spot and see how it goes :) Never any harm in trying and you will often be surprised at the results.
