Hi,

Can anyone please recommend a good passionfruit variety to grow in Canberra ? I am not even sure it will survive and fruit in Canberra long winter and frost conditions. But just being curious if anyone had success growing in Canberra or even in Tasmania.I have the option of planting it against a brick wall with eave cover or against a fence out in the open. But the brick wall only gets 2-3 hours morning sun. Thanks.

Maybe a banana passionfruit would be suitable. I tasted some recently and forgot how nice they are despite being much maligned. They thrive in Melbourne so perhaps worth a shot.
