au0rey starts with ... Hi all, Could someone tell me when is the best time to spray my peach trees? Last year I did spray but my trees still got some degree of leaf curl. I hope to prevent it completely this spring. I read from Yates 'For peaches, spraying is best in late winter when buds first swell (bud scales start to loosen)' I am not sure what that means. I know winter is the best time but every peach tree may be faster or slower in growth in the same winter and I want to catch the exact timing. I can see tips of green leaves and tinge of pink from the buds. Do you think I can spray? Is Mancozeb better or copper fungicide better? Thanks! | About the Author Melbourne 31st July 2011 9:13am #UserID: 0 Posts: View All 's Edible Fruit Trees |
