Just wanting to know how the person using candlenut for weight loss was able to get the seed out of the nut and did she boil the seed or just put boiling water over it and drink.? Would much appreciate a reply. Thanks

I thought candle nuts had to be cooked first? Don't they cause diarrohoea if eaten raw?
Might be a good idea to google the topic first...could be embarrassing if u are out n about...? :)))
I have only seen them already husked..can u use a nutcracker or hammer?

Yes its hard to crack them open. Ijust wasnt sure if they are the same product the a weight loss co was selling under the name latin seed but apparently there product was not candle nut but oleander which is poisonous. My friend used candle nut for weightloss and had great results.

I used the lattin seed and whilst i didn't like the taste it left in the water it stopped me putting on weight. I had been dealing with anorexia turned into an extreme binge eating disorder which I found I could learn to manage my weight without freaking out for eating too much. I lost a bit of weight and want to tone up and get back to what is concidered a perfect BMI for my height / age etc.

Does the candlenut from Queensland do the same thing as the latin seed did?
