Canistel - yellow and dying leaves (forum)

going troppo starts with ...
In spring 2019 I planted 2 x grafted canistels from Daleys in well-drained soil with heaps of organic compost and heavily mulched with straw. I live in the sub-tropics with the rare frosty morning.
I have given the plants 2 seaweed applications and NPK plus applied trace minerals about 6 weeks ago
Both have struggled. Slow growth, yellowing leaves, tops of the plant going brown and dying. One plant is completely dead. The other seems not far behind. Yet all my other trees are booming!
What am I doing wrong. Soil Ph is about 6. Is it some sort of deficiency

Hi going troppo,
I found graft Canistel is very sensitive to cold months in winter and chemical fertilizer especially when they are young. I only apply the organic fertilizer like dynamic lifter at small dose after 2 year old. The one still alive you need to transplant into a 300mm pot with new potting mix, little water keep it moist but not wet, no fertilizer and keep under the shade for a few months. Hope that is not too late. Cheers
