I have been offered Cow manure compost, Green life based compost or mushroom compost. I did not know there were so many choices. I want to add it to my orchrd soil. Can anybody give me advise about the better one to use if such is the case?

I am no expert but fundamentally the best compost is made from a diverse range of inputs. I.e. if those are your three choices I would go combination of Cow manure compost and Green life based compost (what is greenlife compost based on though?). Mushroom compost is very well rotted, often dead, already used, and can often have pH issues.

Thanks. The Green life comes from tree tops etc. But the tip on the mushrooms is good.
