If you want to do unpaid work there is a scheme here called WOOFAS (willing workers on organic farms), and accomodation is provided for you.
If you want to have a paid job - I don't know how you do this. Have you talked to the Australian consulate? There are many orchards and seasonal work during the warm months, but getting official permission is another matter.
If anyone with a fruit farm is reading this web-site - Claudio is saying that he wants to contact you about work.

Claudio, Contact the Australian Consulate and ask them how you can get here. And save as much money as you can, just because government officials respect this. Et estudia inglesia na casa!

There is a new website just started called seasonalwork.com.au There are no jobs listed there yet, but you should keep watching it, particularly during the summer.
