Does anyone know where I can get a curry leaf tree (Murraya koenigii) in Sydney, possibly somewhere on the lower or upper North Shore.

Hi Lyn I saw one at parkers of Turramurra when I was in Sydney about a year ago so if not there at present they may be able to order one in for you. Just watch them in winter. I live in Brisbane and when it was little -less than 2 years of age I brought it in at night out of the cold during winter. Now its over 5 feet tall. We had Sri lankan neighbours and they said they grow better in part shade than full sun back in Sri Lanka so ours is in a sheletered spot. But I have seen one in the ground full sun out west at Esk about 10 foot tall and growing well. Good luck

Hi Lyn,
I have a small plant to spare if you are interested. If you need leaves for cooking, be happy to supply it to keep in freezer. Please write to me at efsyeung at hotmail dot com to arrange for pick up or delivery when i pass that way.
