Hello,
My fruit buds start off beautifully green then quickly turn yellow and drop off. I can’t figure out why. Could it be because of the ants?
Thank you.

Hi Nathaly

There are a few reasons why dragon fruit flowers drop off before they bloom;
1. The plant is not yet mature enough to flower and bear fruit.
2. Too much moisture like long
consistent rainfall or overwatering.
3. Soil not draining water fast enough.
4. Sudden spike in temperature like from 20C to 30C within a day or two or a heatwave can cause flower falling off as well.
Happy gardening πŸ˜€
