Metal posts are not good for dragon fruit unless wooden posts are attached beside them, and they are wrapped in cloth or hessian.Wood will eventually rot but metal gives extra support so they should be firmly joined.Concrete poles are good.Top trellising or pole connections of metal for support don't matter so much.

Tyre tubes are not available here in india and concrete is time taken process, so can we use Aluminium or steel angles for support
