Dwarf Mulberry fruit

Hi
I just planted my dwarf black mulberry in the backyard its about waist high
I just wanted to know will it fruit this spring/summer?
I am very excited I remember in our backyard as a kid a huge mulberry tree the smell of the fruit brings back so many memories

this is a picture of my dwarf black mulberry tree.. it fruited really well last year.. but i read that i shld have cut it back by a third after fruiting..I guess i am too late now.. and how much food shld i be giving it?
