dwarf pear Tanzie

Hi has anyone heard or seen a dwarf pear named TANZIE it grows 1.5m x 1.5m in height and it is a self pollinating dwarf pear tree i found and artical about it in the south australian graden & outdoor living spring 2011 magazine
where can you get one from and can you grow it in SA
any information on it would be a great help thankyou very much for your responses

I bought a trixie pear recently. I really love the look of it. It's like a bonsai ornamental looking thing. I don't really care if it fruits or not because it just looks so cool!

Jimmy did you buy it or just know about it.because i did find it on the flemings web site but it was called tanzie and do you know if the pipsqueak is self pollinating.Wazzbat do you know the name of the trixie pear or was it just that. do you need any chilling time for a pear tree.

The Trixzie is self pollinating. Not sure on the chill hours though but like I said, I don't really care if it doesn't fruit? So far though, all my other Flemming trees have done really well. You can check out all the info on the Flemmings website.
