Dwarf persimmon leaf wilting

Hi
I’m unsure what’s happening to my young persimmon tree. I got it back in June and last month it’s bud startes opening and new geothermal happen.

Then two weeks that leaves started wilting and dropping off. I scratched back the bark and it’s still green.

I checked the roots and there’s no root rot. I’ve only fertilised it maybe once or twice with seweed solution.

Does anyone have any idea what’s happening? Will I see new shoots on the tree??
