David01 says... Hi ftmix1, It depends on how large the tree you want to be at the end. In general people start with small pot size 300mm to 400mm when it is young and upgrade it to 500mm or bigger after 2-3 years. However, the final pot size will also depends on your physical strength to move the pot around.
