Dying nectarine tree (forum)

In a week one of my nectarine trees has gone from being healthy to dying. I've cut away most of the infected branches and sprayed with oil. Does anyone know what it may be? I have 2 other nectarine trees that both look healthy and a number of other fruit trees that all look fine. Im worried this may be something that spreads. Any ideas?

Looks like peach curl, followed by aphids and ants. In my garden I stand back and wait for the ladybirds then give it some time to recover before any pruning keep watering too it looks pretty dry and stressed trees get problems.

MissTB,
Your tree looks pretty good.
Two weeks ago my tree had the same problem but, the entire thing was in the state of the foreground branch shown in your image J7NeC1U.
It was absolutely covered in aphids.
I was fairly sure I was going to lose the tree so, I doused it with Brunnings' Outdoor Surface Spray.
Left that for two or three days then, sprayed it with the high pressure sprayer, from a reasonable distance, with the soap canister attached, to wash off the Surface Spray. Then, a second spray with clean water, to wash off the soap.
That seemed to do the trick with the Aphids (their little bodies all stuck to the fence, behind).
A couple of days after that, although the odd young branch is effectively cactus, there were new leaves sprouting up all over. I removed any growing fruit, applied an early dose of this Summer's fertiliser, a handful of Potash and, the tree seems to be doing great guns now.
