Eleocarpus emundii (forum)

bardongarden starts with ...
I planted a eumundi quandong about a year ago (not from Daleys) and it's growing reasonably well but it continues to have a lot of brown leaves. Half the leaf is green but the other half closer to the tip is brown and hard. I don't think its sunburn, as there are lots of these planted as street trees in full sun. We are inland, nowhere near the sea. Has it been overfertilised? I watered it in well, and it's had good rain after the cyclone. I read about erinose mite but I can't see any evidence of that. Any ideas?
