Steven says... I have a few walnuts i grew from seed in large planter bags and i had a similar problem last year. By the looks of it, its most likely simply not enough water and the leaves are getting burnt probably from the heat wave we have had. Give them some nice think mulch and water them well every few days and they should be fine. Be wary however that 'they say' walnuts don't grow well near the beach. but i have one in McCrae and its doing fine so far.... Steven P.S. the branches aren't falling off.
