evergreen windbreak trees (forum)

figtree starts with ...
Hello, can anybody help please? I am trying to find evergreen windbreak trees suitable for a high-wind coastal area. I was thinking of large trees so that I could do a second layer of smaller trees such as lilly pilly and feijoa/guava things. It seems that a lot of recommended windbreak trees are deciduous, but we get most of our strong winds in winter.
Thank you!
