Yet another question. We would like to grow a finger lime in Canberra.

Is it impossible or would it go in a pot on a sheltered deck in winter and then out in the sun for summer?

I live on the coast east of you and have a plant that has been here 3 years. It is in the ground in a fairly protected spot but have not had any fruit so far. I had lots of flowers but a poor fruit set this year.

Thanks Lynne. You may have a better chance at the coast than we here in Canberra. I hope you get some fruit next year.

I grow all my different species of FL in pots in Brisbane in shade on the south side of my house. Most doing well except Russell River Lime.

Thanks fruitist. I guess the real test is by trial and error but it is good to hear about others' experiences.
