Fruit & nut trees for Gippsland (forum)

What fruit and nut trees (and other unusual trees like carob, etc) can be grown in Gippsland, VIC ?
We are thinking of getting some started in large pots. The trees we have growing here are lemon, nectarine, chestnut, a cherry plum and some 'wild/feral' plums down near the creek. Also, there are numerous 'wild' apple trees growing all along the roadway, some red, some green. By 'wild' I mean they have just grown from seed by the looks of them.
Blackberries grow well, and so would other fruits that need the cold to set.
Could we grow any tropical or sub-tropical fruits ? I heard of bananas being grown in Mt Macedon, and it would be colder than here. They created a micro-climate to keep it warm and stop any cold winds.
Can I get all the fruit and nut trees we need, from Daleys ?

Thanks Jimmy, but that (obviously) only shows fruit and nut trees that have been ordered from the Gippsland area/s. I needed to know what fruit and nut trees CAN be grown.

I have been growing a lot of sub tropicals in Gippsland for years now and there are a lot that will thrive here. Avocados will do fine, I have found cold is not even close to a problem, the main thing is to watch out for root rot(well drained) and mulch a hell of a lot.White Sapotes are bullet proof and dont have the root rot problems of Avocadoes. Cherimoya is definately worth a try and Macadamias will do fine but you will struggle to get a Banana that will produce any fruit.
Hope that helps a little Sean

Sean, many thanks. That's good news on the sub-tropicals, and Macadamias and the other fruits you mentioned will be great.
