Fruit tree for shaded position

    1 responses

Hi there. I want to plant a fruit tree on the south of my house and prune to a bush size. The position does not get any sun in the winter and will begin to get sun in November. It will stop getting sun in March. I was hoping to plant a cherry if this is feasible. Alternatively, is there a tree that you would recommend? I live in a cool temperate climate (Canberra). Thanks, Michael.

Hi Michael,

You can try Monstera, Bolwarra or fuchsia boliviana.
