Fruit Trees in Arid areas (forum)

Can anyone help? We are after a reputable source of information with regards to fruit tree selection in Arid Zone areas. We live in Cnetral Australia where citrus and Mulberries are well established but would like to plant others including berries? Thanks for your time. KAtja
