If not please give me your opinion on how it would go in Melbourne.

Another member "Jujube for sale" tried growing Gac in Melbourne, extract response below dated 27 March 2014:
"Everything should be ok. Years ago, I had a little vine in Melbourne for 3 years and it was ok until I gave it away because it grew too slow in Melbourne, a bit cold."
