Goji - multiple trunks OK? (forum)

I'm growing Goji berry bushes in big 60cm pots (3 plants total). They are almost 2 years old, and vary between 1 metre high and 2 metres high, with various branches coming off each trunk. Basically each pot has about 3 main trunks; is this bad? Will it yield less fruit, having multiple trunks? I have read that it's good to only have 1 trunk, but I'm worried that if I get rid of the other 2 the plant might suffer. They look very healthy and have sprouted leaves all over now that it's spring. I've recently done a big prune and pruned back a lot of the suckers and root sprouts... anyway I'd really appreciate some advice!
Thanks :)
